Broad Feedstock Softness, Mixed Olefins Margins
This issue examines the extent to which declining feedstock costs translated into improved olefins and polymer margins, and where that pass through broke down across regions and export routes.
Crude, gas, coal, and naphtha declined while propane rose. Olefins margins were mixed, with strength in parts of Europe offset by weaker PE, PP, and MEG margins across several export routes.
