Softer Energy Markets, Broad Olefins Price Pressure
This issue examines how softer energy markets failed to offset oversupply and weak demand, resulting in broad pricing pressure across olefins and polymers. Crude and gas softened, easing feedstock costs, but oversupply and weak demand pushed ethylene, propylene, PE and PP prices lower. Margins were mixed, with regional and route specific exceptions.
